Tell us what's going on
A short, plain-language questionnaire — what brought you here, what you've tried, what you want in a therapist. No diagnosis required, and no wrong answers.
Haven pairs you with a licensed therapist who actually fits — your history, your identity, your schedule. Talk from your kitchen table, your parked car, wherever you feel most like yourself.
Free to start · No commitment · Cancel or switch therapists anytime
Most people put off starting because the first move feels like the hardest one. We made it about ten minutes long.
A short, plain-language questionnaire — what brought you here, what you've tried, what you want in a therapist. No diagnosis required, and no wrong answers.
A licensed care coordinator reviews your answers and sends three therapists who fit — with their approach, their credentials, and a short intro video from each.
Pick a time that works — evenings and weekends included. If the fit isn't right after a session or two, switch. It costs nothing and it's not a setback.
Whatever you're carrying, there's a version of this that works for you — and for the people you're carrying it with.
Weekly 50-minute sessions for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, burnout, or the fog you can't quite name yet.

There's no commute, no clipboard, no lobby full of people avoiding eye contact. You open Haven from the couch, the porch, or the parked car outside work — and you begin.
Every Haven therapist holds an active state license, carries a minimum of three years of post-licensure practice, and passes a clinical interview with our care team.

I'd been telling myself I wasn't "bad enough" for therapy for about six years. The questionnaire didn't make me prove anything. I just answered honestly and someone called me back.
My first match wasn't right and I panicked — I thought I'd wrecked it. I clicked "switch," and two days later I met the person I've now seen for eleven months.
We'd been quietly circling the same argument for two years. Doing couples sessions from our own living room, on our own couch, somehow made it possible to actually say the thing.
Haven is built for ongoing, scheduled care — it is not an emergency service, and our therapists are not available around the clock. If you're having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or you're worried about someone who is, reach out to people who can respond right now.
In the US, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, 24/7, free and confidential. You can also text HOME to 741741 for the Crisis Text Line, or call 911 in an immediate emergency. Outside the US, find your local line →
You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support. People come to Haven for panic attacks and for a vague, persistent sense that something's off. Both are legitimate reasons. If you've been wondering whether to start for a while, that wondering is usually its own answer.
Then you switch, and nothing about that is a failure — fit is the single biggest predictor of whether therapy helps. Tap "Find someone new" in your account and a care coordinator sends fresh matches within 48 hours. It's free, it's unlimited, and your original therapist isn't notified with any detail.
We're in-network with Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, Kaiser Permanente, Humana, Oscar, Anthem and Carelon. Enter your member ID during sign-up and we'll show your real per-session cost before you book anything — most covered members pay $25–$45 per session.
Yes. Sessions are end-to-end encrypted, Haven is HIPAA-compliant, and your therapist's notes are visible only to your care team. We do not sell or share member data with advertisers, insurers-for-marketing, or data brokers — full stop. You can export or delete your records at any time.
Our psychiatric providers can, in every state where we operate, for most conditions — though controlled substances have state-by-state limits we'll explain before your evaluation. If medication makes sense, your psychiatrist and your therapist coordinate directly instead of leaving you to relay messages between them.
Mostly, you talk and they listen. Your therapist will ask what brought you here, what you've already tried, and what a good outcome would look like for you. You don't need to prepare anything, and you're allowed to say "I don't know" as many times as you need to.
Answer a few questions and meet three therapists chosen for you. No card required to get matched.
