The barbers

Six chairs.
Three names
worth waiting for.

Book the shop and you'll get whoever's free — every one of them can cut. Book a name and you'll wait a week or three. Here's who's holding the clippers, what they're known for, and the work they leave the chair.

Barber Dez Whitfield shaping a client's curly fade with clippers

Chair 1 · Owner

Dez Whitfield

14 years a chair · Skin fades & texture

Bought the shop from Gus's grandson in 2019 and changed nothing but the coffee. Fastest clean fade in the county and the reason half of Larchmere books three weeks out. If you want a zero-to-blended taper that still looks sharp on day ten, this is your chair.

Barber Marco Reyes cutting a client's hair with comb and shears

Chair 3 · Scissor work

Marco Reyes

9 years a chair · Shears & grey blending

Trained in Bilbao, came to Cleveland for a summer, stayed a decade. Shears-only by choice — if you want weight and movement left in it rather than a machine-clean finish, sit with Marco. Quietly the best in the shop at making a side part look like it grew that way.

Barber Ray Kovac giving a hot-towel straight-razor shave

Chair 5 · Razor work

Ray Kovac

22 years a chair · Straight razor & beard

Learned the straight razor from his father in the old Slavic Village shop and has been holding one ever since. Books out three weeks ahead and it's worth every day of the wait — the hot-towel shave is the closest thing this side of town to thirty minutes nobody can reach you. Beard sculpts and razor line-ups too.
