The Method

How FORMA works

No random workouts. Every athlete runs the same three-phase loop — assess, train, retest — so progress is never a feeling. It's a number.

Assess

A free 60-minute movement screen and strength baseline. We test your squat, hinge, press and engine — then place you in the right track at the right loads.

Train

3–4 coached sessions a week in 12-week blocks. Eight athletes, one coach, every rep watched. Your loads and times sync to the FORMA app automatically.

Retest

Every block ends with test week. New maxes, new benchmarks, new targets — and a coach debrief on exactly what the next 12 weeks will build.

Maya training with weights at FORMA Deadlift 85 → 140 kg
I'd done three years of classes that got me sweaty and nowhere. Fourteen months at FORMA and I pull double bodyweight. The coaches log everything — you literally can't hide from your own progress.

Two kids, a startup, chronic back pain. I told them I had three lunch hours a week. That's exactly what they programmed for. Back pain gone by week nine, and I bench more at 41 than I did at 25.

Priya finishing a conditioning interval at FORMA First pull-up → 12
I joined for the schedule and stayed for the standard. Sessions start on the minute and every rep gets coached. Zero pull-ups to twelve strict in ten months — my Garmin thinks I'm a different person.

FAQ

Before you ask

I've never touched a barbell. Is this for me?

Yes — roughly 60% of members arrive with zero barbell experience. Your first four weeks run at technique loads with extra coach eyes, and nobody moves to heavier percentages until movement quality earns it. The group cap of eight exists precisely so beginners never get lost in a crowd.

How is this different from CrossFit or a big-box gym?

Unlike a big-box gym, every session is coached and programmed. Unlike most group fitness, the workout isn't random — you follow a 12-week strength block with tested maxes, so intensity is prescribed to your numbers, not shouted at the room. Think personal training standards at small-group prices.

What does the free trial session include?

A full 60-minute assessment: movement screen, baseline strength and conditioning tests, and a coach recommendation for your track and starting loads. You leave with your numbers whether you join or not. No card required, no sales script.

I travel for work. Do sessions roll over?

Kickoff sessions roll over one month. All-In members can freeze their membership up to 6 weeks per year in one-week increments from the app — no emails, no phone calls, effective the same day.

What if I need to cancel?

Thirty days' written notice from the app or by email. That's the whole policy. No cancellation fee, no "manager retention call," and your training log exports with you.

Do you offer showers and early access?

Four private showers with towel service, lockers, and a coffee bar. Doors open at 5:40 AM for the 6:00 sessions. Most lunchtime members are back at their desk within 75 minutes, hair dry.
