Materials & making

We only sell what we can repair.

Every frame is mortise-and-tenon joined in oak or ash — no staples, no MDF, no glue-only joints. If a leg splits in year eleven, we send you a new one and the tools to fit it.

Our timber comes from four FSC-certified forests within 600 km of the workshop. Wool is spun in Borås. Leather is vegetable-tanned in Tärnsjö, the last tannery in Sweden doing it without chrome.
