You're the one reading the label. So we wrote a good one.

Every Whimble toy starts as European beech from FSC-certified forests, cut at a mill 40 miles from our workshop. Nothing is coated in anything we wouldn't let a one-year-old chew — because they will.

  • Water-based, EN71-3 compliant paintNo solvents, no phthalates, no PVC. Independently batch-tested for heavy metals — certificates published on every product page.
  • FSC 100% beech, milled in SomersetOne tree replanted for every tree we take. Sanded to 240 grit so there's nothing to splinter, and edges radiused by 3mm minimum.
  • Choke-tested to the smallest partAnything sold for under-3s clears the BS EN71-1 small-parts cylinder. If it doesn't, the age badge changes — not the test.
  • Broken it? Post it back.Five years of free repairs on any Whimble toy. We re-glue, re-sand and re-paint, then send it home. Roughly 900 toys saved from landfill last year.
