Cirque 55 Pack
Frame-sheet hauler for 4–7 night alpine routes. Ice-tool retention, no zippers to freeze.

Test traverse — Bishop Pass → Muir Pass 28.4 mi 7,180 ft gain Every product carries it before you do
We don't make 40 packs. We make four, and we make them survive the Sierra in February.
Frame-sheet hauler for 4–7 night alpine routes. Ice-tool retention, no zippers to freeze.
Single-wall, two-person, four-season. Held 61 mph on Mt. Ritter with the vestibule up.
850-fill responsibly-sourced down, water-resistant shell, differential-cut baffles.
Summit-day pack that strips to 11 oz. Rope carry, helmet net, zero frame.
Belay-weight down with a helmet-compatible hood. Packs into its own chest pocket.
Global-needle baseplate with a declination screw you can turn wearing gloves.
Every design goes to the same place: a 28-mile traverse over Bishop Pass in the worst window we can find. Two of our four staff designers carry the prototype. If a buckle ices shut, a seam wets out, or a hip belt bruises, it goes back to the bench — not into the catalog.
We publish the failures too. Every product page carries its test log, including the runs where the gear lost.
Torn, blown, chewed by a marmot — send it in. We fix it free, forever, first owner or fifth.
Take it out. Actually out. If it doesn't hold up in three months, we refund it and want the notes.

Down loss doesn't have to end the trip. Two grams of tape, one needle, and the field patch that gets you home warm.
Read the fix →“Carried the Cirque 55 for 19 days on the Sierra High Route. The load transfer is the only reason my knees are still working. The stated weight was the real weight — I checked.”Dana OkonkwoGuide, Bishop CA
“A ground squirrel ate through my Basalt 2 vestibule at Thousand Island. Mailed it Monday, had it back the next week, no invoice, no argument. That's the whole pitch.”Marcus FeldOwner since 2019
“The Coldwater 10 is honestly rated, which is rarer than it should be. Comfortable at 14 °F, survivable below. The hood cinch is fiddly with mitts — they told me they're fixing it.”Priya RamanSki mountaineer, Tahoe
