First time here?

What a first visit actually looks like

No mystery, no rush. Here's the whole thing, start to finish, so nobody — two-legged or four — walks in nervous.

You arrive

Cats head straight to the separate entrance and a quiet room. Dogs can take a lap of the garden run first if they need to shake it off.

We settle in

Treats come out before the thermometer. Your vet sits on the floor, takes a history, and lets your pet decide the pace.

The exam & plan

A full nose-to-tail check, then a plan on the screen with a written estimate. Nothing happens until you've said yes.

You go home

Clear next steps, meds if needed, and your vet — not a voicemail — calls personally with any results.

How soon can I be seen?

We usually have same-week wellness appointments and hold triage slots every afternoon for urgent cases — often same day. Mark your request "Urgent — today" or call and we'll fit you in or point you to the right place.

What does the first visit cost?

A wellness exam starts at $75, and you'll get a written estimate before anything beyond the exam happens. We take CareCredit and Scratchpay and can set up financing right in the room. See the full price list on the services page.

My cat panics at the vet. Can you help?

Yes — book a Tuesday or Thursday morning. Those are cats-only: separate entrance, no dogs on the premises, pheromone diffusers running. If that's still too much, we'll send home a light pre-visit sedative to give an hour before you leave.

Do you take new patients?

We do — dogs, cats and rabbits. Exotics and birds we'll happily refer to High Desert Avian, two blocks over. Just submit the form above and we'll get you set up.

What if it's an emergency after hours?

We have an on-call vet for registered patients evenings and Sundays — call the clinic line and you'll be routed. For anything needing overnight hospitalisation we work directly with the 24-hour hospital in Redmond and will call ahead so they're expecting you.

Can I stay in the room?

Please do. Most pets are calmer with you there, and you'll catch the things we'd otherwise have to ask about. The only exceptions are radiographs and surgery, for safety — and we bring the images out to you afterwards.
