Where we go

Five zones, two delivery days.

Zones 1–3 are the Wednesday city round. Zones 4 and 5 are further out, so they go on Thursday when the van can do the whole loop in one run.

Ninety-minute slots, not four-hour ones.

The vans leave the wharf at 7.30. Each slot is a real ninety minutes on a real route — which is why some of them are already full.

How it works

From the field to your step in four moves.

You order

Fill a basket or let the weekly box fill itself. Change it as many times as you like until the cut-off.

Until Monday 6pm

The growers pick

We send the whole week's list out to the farms on Monday night. It's picked to order on Tuesday, not pulled from a warehouse.

Tuesday, from 6am

We pack the crates

Packed by hand at the wharf on Tuesday evening into returnable crates. Paper, glass and cloth — no plastic goes in.

Tuesday, 4–9pm

Our van brings it

Our own driver, on your slot, with last week's empties collected on the same trip.

Wed or Thu, from 7.30am

Freshness, in writing

If anything arrives tired, tell us within 48 hours. We refund that line, no photo needed.

48-HOUR GUARANTEE

The box comes back

Leave the crate and jars out next week. We collect, wash and refill them. No plastic, ever.

CUT-OFF MONDAY 6PM

Our vans, our drivers

The person at your door works here and knows what's in the crate. No courier handoff.

TWO VANS · FIVE ZONES
Questions

The things people actually ask.

If it isn't here, call the shop on Tue–Sat 8–6. Someone who packs the crates will answer.

The driver leaves the crate in the safest spot they can find and photographs it. Produce is packed to sit out for a few hours — but tell us in the notes if there's a porch, a side gate or a neighbour, and that's where it goes.

Yes, up to the Monday 6pm cut-off, from your account or by replying to the Monday email. Skipping is free and unlimited — most people skip a few weeks a year and nobody chases you.

No. Nothing we sell needs a signature. If there's alcohol in the order the driver will knock, and if nobody answers it comes back to the shop for the following week.

Leave them out on your next delivery day and the driver swaps them for the full ones. We wash and refill them here. About 96% come back, which is why there's no plastic in the box.

Tell us within 48 hours and we refund that line — no photograph, no form, no argument. Reply to your order email or call the shop. It's the same promise whether it's a £2 lettuce or a £30 box.

Not yet. We run two vans and we'd rather cover five zones properly than eight badly. If you're just outside, put your postcode in below — when a round gets full enough to justify a third van, you're the first people we call.

Ready when you are

Start with one box. Cancel whenever you like.

Order by Monday 6pm and the first crate is on your step on Wednesday. No contract, no minimum, no chasing.
