Ash Nesting Bowl, set of four
Ø 18 cm · 480 g avg · Ash glaze
Four bowls that nest down into the footprint of one. Thrown to take a breakfast, a side salad or the thing you eat standing at the counter. The rim is left slightly thick so it survives being stacked wet.

Batch 19 · the story of these bowls
Twelve sets went in.
Nine came out right.
Nadia threw these over two mornings in late October, forty-eight bowls off a single 43 kg bag of grey stoneware. They dried five days on the north shelf, which is slower than the south shelf and the reason the rims didn't warp.
The ash glaze in this batch ran a shade paler than batch 18 — the wood ash came from a different cord of oak, and oak ash is like that. Three sets came out of the kiln with a glaze crawl on the foot and went to the seconds shelf at half price. Nine sets are here.
Care & materials
Use it. That's the whole point.
Stoneware fired this hard is not delicate. Everything below is true of every piece we make, this set included.
Dishwasher safe
Vitrified to 1,260°C. Top rack, bottom rack, it doesn't care. No crazing, no dulling.
Oven & microwave
Up to 220°C. No glaze cracks, no metal. Don't take it straight from freezer to oven.
Lead & cadmium free
Independently tested every batch. Certificates are on file and posted with each firing.
