Batch 19 · shipping now
Forty pieces. No two identical.
Everything below came out of the same eleven-day firing. Dimensions and weights are the batch average — a plate may run 3 mm either side of spec, and that is the point.
On the plinth
The whole batch.
Thrown, trimmed, glazed and fired by hand. Filter by collection — every piece carries its batch number and the glaze it came out wearing.

What "handmade" costs you
The three things we won't pretend.
Buying from a two-person studio is not the same as buying from a factory. Here is exactly where the difference shows up.
01
Sizes drift
A thrown plate lands within about 3 mm of its stated diameter and 40 g of its stated weight. Stack them and you will see it. Measure a factory plate and you won't.
02
Glaze is never twice the same
Ash glaze pools where the wall thickens, so every foot ring breaks a slightly different colour. We photograph one piece; you receive a sibling, not a clone.
03
Sold out means sold out
We do not backfill from stock — there is no stock. A sold-out piece returns when the next batch comes out of the kiln, roughly every eleven days.
